What a start to 2020 for the Sheridan Lifts team.

Not only have we confirmed a new lift maintenance contract with one of our most prestigious high end retailers to date in Princess Yachts, we’re also making waves (hope you appreciate the pun) in the education sector too.

I sat down with our Lift Service Sales Manager Chris Grailey who bought me up to speed on one particular contract of note that has been agreed since we returned to the offices after our Christmas break. Chris commented:

“It’s been an amazing and very busy start to the year” he enthused

“I’m delighted to welcome Wigan and Leigh College on board with Sheridan Lifts following a successful in-depth tender process.

The college has 23 units on site spread over a number of campuses, Wigan and Leigh has now been added to our ever-growing list of higher educational facilities throughout the region and this acquisition further enhances our reputation as the number 1 lift contractor in the north of England.

I asked him if all the lifts across these campuses were passenger lifts.

“No, they’re actually not. They’re made up of a mixture of passenger lifts, goods lifts and platform lifts from a variety of manufacturers. The great things about Sheridan Lifts is that we can look after any lifts and have 40 years of industry experience to draw from”
