The Equality Act 2010 states that there is a requirement to make reasonable changes to the built environment, such as making changes to the structure of a building to improve access for those with physical impairments.

Access to buildings for those who are disabled or have certain physical limitations is one such area in which we, as a lift company, are particularly interested in. Platform lifts are specifically designed for wheelchair users and are suitable solutions for where it’s not feasible to modify an existing lift, there is no room for a conventional lift or ramp. Platform lifts can be installed in both commercial buildings and in homes to provide suitable access.

Our Glide-Hi platform lifts are British built and comply with the Machine Directive and part M-Building regulations. We use the ultra-reliable, low maintenance and self-sustained nut and screw drive and our platform lifts can be specified with up to 6 stops and a lift of 10m.
