Last week we reported that an entourage had left the sunny climes of Manchester for the even sunnier climes of Dubai and today we can report that all four directors are now safely home and re-united with their families!

Here are the chaps… looking quite dapper we think!

Commenting on last week’s business trip to Dubai, where Sheridan Lifts are soon to be expanding our business and commencing operations under the name of Sheridan Elevators, owner and Managing Director Tony Sheridan said:

“It was a really excellent trip and extremely productive, with some very in-depth meetings and discussions with some of our key suppliers”

“We were able to visit sites, inspecting software and merchandise and see some of the equipment and lift shafts first hand.

We actually brought home an awful lot more than we thought we would in terms of knowledge and ideas, especially in relation to planning and projects, and I think this trip sets us up perfectly for a return visit where we can progress this project further down the line”

“It’s just a case of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s now”

Suits and the 30 degree heat may not be the ideal pairing but that didn’t discourage the chaps from the task in hand which was to set up the new company in Dubai and firmly establish some roots in the community, and we are delighted to report that everything ran smoothly and we are now very close to commencing those operations in the United Arab Emirates.

Of course, there was some downtime for the gentlemen too, as Tony, Daniel, Joe and Nick all enjoyed some drinks in the sunshine as well as the famous Dubai Sunday brunch and more than a couple of dips in the pool. All work and no play is absolutely no fun, after all!

We are delighted to have the four directors back in the office and of course our focus on operations here in the United Kingdom remains unswerved as we look to cement our reputation as the leading lift company in the United Kingdom.
