Marketing Manager at Sheridan Lifts and chief blogger!

Sheridan Lifts have recently completed a lift refurbishment for one of the UK’s best-known household names, Crown Paints!

Our initial instruction at their paint production factory site in Darwen comprised a full electrical refurbishment of their business critical 3 tonne goods lift (approx. 40 people) including new control system, full shaft re-wire, new car top control, new car operating panel and new landing push stations and indication system. The lift in question is an old Wadsworth lift circa 1960.

This contract came up following initial outreach by our Lift Service Sales Manager Chris Grailey and with sales support from our Service Manager Chris Chadwick. The programme from start to finish including testing and commissioning was turned around in two weeks, resulting in a very happy customer!

…So happy in fact that Crown Paints have since awarded the service contract on the remaining other 10 lifts within their factory to Sheridan Lifts following this successful job.

Commenting on the works completed by our experienced engineers, Crown Paints Engineering Group Leader Clint Baxter kindly said:

“Many thanks for the overhaul carried out on our SB goods lift. The engineers you sent were a credit to your company.

We look forward to the continued support from yourselves going forward.

All the best for Christmas and New Year”

And all the best to everyone at Crown Paints and all of our readers for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
